I love this place because the toppings are generous and the combinations of ingredients are so tasty! The menu is packed full of delicious pizza options and if you have a sweet tooth, there’s a range of dessert pizzas that are like a rich cake, baked into a pizza base, topped with icecream and sauce.
Mundaring is a long drive but that’s all part of the adventure. For those not willing to travel so far away, there’s another Little Caesars in Leederville.

Another collaboration with Skye (The Lost Princess), she has incredibly pretty, delicate-looking, vintage Gunne Sax dresses.

I opted for natural lighting so I would not have to find someone to hold a reflector for me. We did this shoot early – mid morning, and you may not believe it but it was shot on this empty block which was right next to a very busy road. A couple of people have asked me about where I did “the country shoot” and I couldn’t figure out which shoot they were talking about until I realised they were talking about these photos!
A handful of ‘behind the scenes’ snaps :)
Skye constructed the flower wreath.

Walking through the flowers.

Skye sat on a blanket to avoid soiling the dress.

I had not braided since I was a little girl until this moment.

Natural light was less than optimum, and although I hate using photoshop to fix lighting errors it had to be done. With only one light source (aka. the sun) it would have been better to face a different direction than to be backlit by the sun but on our location there was no other angle we could have taken without including a substantial amount of ugly urban backdrop.

A retro-processed shot that doesn’t fit into the set!

This was done over a year ago!
The amazing Jessica Truscott (who also does photography) came with her Alice in Wonderland cosplay and mad modelling skills. Her sister, Sarah helped out holding reflectors and flashes.

Here are some behind the scenes photos!

Trying to get rid of raccoon eyes, it wasn’t working from this angle.

What’s down the rabbit hole?

Check mate!

This is what the images look like before photoshop. I used two diffused flashes for this setup, but don’t remember exactly where. Maybe you can work it out ;)

Adam let me use his garage so I dressed it up with hessian and brought along the pilot’s cap, goggles and all of my photography gear.
Haylee C brought the clothes and did a fantastic job of modelling and Jane Wong came to do the makeup for us!

Some shots of the makeup:

And a silly shot with the goggles on!

I ordered this Tecre Model 100 button making machine online and was so excited to start making buttons. The piece of paper that came with the machine made the process seem pretty straightforward.

But somehow we managed to mangle the button.

Eventually we figured it out and I wrote this so I could remember how it was done, maybe you’ll find it helpful too.
This is designed to go along with the instructions given by the manufacturer, not replace them!
Actual instructions after the jump…

Part of a series shot with Princess Skye (of The Lost Princess), titled La Vie d’une Poupee, which translates to “The Life of A Doll” in English.
Skye provided her beautiful Lolita-style wardrobe for a set of images we created together over a six-month period.

Looked back over 2009 and remembered the beautiful weddings I attended. The number of my friends who have gotten married has increased from last year, seemingly exponentially.

I also had the pleasure of taking engagement photos :)
