Moments underwater and on land

by Sab on December 15, 2011

Shot underwater for the first time and it was extremely challenging but really fun! I’ll reserve my comments for the proper writeup. Here’s something to look at, in the meantime:

Underwater bubbles

And then back to the beginning of the shoot…

Wigcut

Just to clear up any confusion, the orange hair in the photo above is from a different wig to the underwater red hair.

Hope you liked these, I enjoyed capturing what was going on around the more typical portrait shots :)

Awesome!!! Can’t wait to see the finished product :D I’ve been dying to try out some underwater photography after I saw a nice photo whilst trawling through tumblr (might post it if I can find it again). Did you use your usual cam with an underwater housing?

Hey T! I used my 400D with DiCaPac housing, which ripped at the corner slightly D: but if I keep that corner above water and angle downwards, it’s ok ^^; I’d love to do another shoot with someone who has long hair, this was a cosplay shoot so I was more limited with angles (ie needed to expose the face properly in every shot, but I love that dreamy tumblr-type no-face shot!) Would you be interested in modeling? Hehe…
