The Last Remnant Cosplay – Emma Honeywell

The detail and workmanship that went into Jen and Min‘s The Last Remnant cosplay at Perth Supernova was just amazing. For the uninitiated – these girls make the outfits from start to finish, using reference pictures, sourcing appropriate materials, spending many hours cutting, sewing and figuring out how to shape armour / props from base materials.

I have wanted to photograph these two together and finally got the opportunity in July this year (2011). Up close, the costumes were just as impressive as what I saw on stage, with embroidery detail and painstakingly sewed pleather seams. I’ll post these photos over a few posts, to start off with here’s Jen’s Emma Honeywell cosplay.
