Max the brown tabby | Pet Photography

During my last visit to Melbourne, my friend J wanted to adopt her first cat. Being an avid cat lover, I was so eager to be a part of this process. We collected cat items such as food, scratch posts and other things, then went to the Lost Dog’s Home in Melbourne to see if any of the cats would catch our eye. Maximus was quietly sleeping in his cage despite the sound of almost every other cat yowling in their enclosures. When we each held Max and went for a little walk around the room, he sat peacefully in our arms. He seemed like the perfect little calm cat! They didn’t know anything about Max except that he was found as a stray. J fell in love with his cute little face so she filled out the paperwork and brought him back to his new home. I captured some images of him once he had settled in.
