About

The blog is primarily a place to share my photos. I aim to fill it over the coming year (2012) with photogaphy tips, to document experiments and get feedback and help if stuck with photo-related problems!

The original idea was “what gets measured, gets improved”. Having a blog would give more meaning to my photography; provide motivation and reason to take photos and a place to put them. I’m still learning and the blog will encourage me to try new techniques and projects and perhaps also connect with others who are doing the same :)

Photography is my primary hobby and I love it. It keeps me busy when I am not doing uni stuff. The blog is fun to maintain as it brings together some skills I have (software engineering, basic web design), some skills I need improvement in (writing) and some I want to develop further (photography).

Outside of academic / career pursuits, I have many interests including food, craft, fashion / makeup, illustration, health / weight loss! So you may see those topics popping up on the blog too.
