There’s only one at the moment, but more in the works! Contact me if there’s something you’re especially keen to know about :)

Quick photoshop tutorial – first video!

by Sab on January 20, 2012

This photoshop tutorial video will give you an idea of how I edit in general, using a recent photo of Aly as an example. I always edit slightly different depending on the photo, but many aspects of this edit work for especially well for bright outdoor photos.

Note: You need advanced knowledge of how to use photoshop in order to be able to follow this video – blending modes, masks, adjustment layers etc.

Stay tuned for the actual photos from the underwater / pool shoot , they should be going up in the next two weeks, I’m working on them now.

Will be doing all tutorials in video format from now on, video tutorials are a lot easier to make, you just have to put up with my voice! I need to work on my enunciation. The delightful things you don’t realise about your voice until you listen to it played back…

What else do you want me to make videos on? Twitter or comment me!
If I get a lot of requests for the same thing, I might make a video of it :)

Grill’d Photoshop Tutorial

by Sab on June 30, 2011

Over the last two weeks I have been going on a mini Photoshop tutorial spree and was excited to do things a little differently and test out some new techniques (as well as old ones) on the photos from the Claremont Grill’d visit I posted about last week. I’ve tried to put a little tutorial together, let me know what you think, things may not be explained at a beginner level, but with screenshots and some ingenuity, I hope beginners will be able to follow along too.

I posted up my lightroom process for a photo last week and you’ll see the massive difference between how I edit in lightroom (quick and dirty) versus photoshop (longer, more complicated – and this one is a quick edit).
